Property Summary: Escape to a peaceful garden retreat in the Sierra foothills. Our charming private garden cabin sits on a quiet 5-acre residential property shared with your hosts, where we cultivate a thriving herbal and vegetable garden. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect with nature, or explore the beautiful Yuba River region, this cozy tiny cabin offers a unique mountain getaway with rustic charm and thoughtful comforts. Wake to birdsong, spend your afternoons lounging in a hammock beneath the trees, enjoy fresh seasonal herbs and vegetables from the garden when available, and end your evenings stargazing from the outdoor garden bed under some of the darkest skies in Northern California. The Space: The cabin is a cozy 200-square-foot tiny house designed for guests who appreciate simplicity, comfort, and nature. Sleeping arrangements include two full-size beds. One bed is located in the main living area, while the second is in a loft accessed by a ladder. Please note that the loft is not suitable for young children or guests with limited mobility. The kitchenette includes a mini refrigerator, french press coffee maker, tea kettle, and outdoor propane camp stove for simple meal preparation. Just a few steps from the cabin is your private detached bathhouse featuring a flush toilet, shower, vintage clawfoot soaking tub, and outdoor sink. Amenities: Your stay includes air conditioning and a ceiling fan; complimentary homemade seasonal herbal tea blends, as well as a small library of herbal, wellness, and nature books; outdoor picnic tables, cozy bistro lighting throughout the garden, an outdoor stargazing garden bed, and multiple garden hammocks; seasonal vegetable garden with complimentary produce when available. Guest Access: Guests enjoy a private gated entrance with dedicated parking area; fully fenced property to help minimize visits from local mountain wildlife. Location: Located in the quiet mountain community of Pike, California, the cabin provides easy access to the beautiful Yuba river and outdoor recreation while offering a peaceful setting away from crowds.
Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your stay. The remaining balance is due at check-in. Accepted payment methods: Cash, Venmo, or Cash App. Deposits are non-refundable if a reservation is canceled.
