Born out of a labor of love, Golden Rose Botanicals is small, woman-owned and operated company nestled among the ponderosa pines, majestic madrones, and black oaks in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada on unceded Nisenan land. Our offerings are seasonally inspired, small batch herbal remedies designed to support all aspects of wellness, physical and spiritual. We firmly believe that the difference in fresh plant remedies speaks for itself. All of our ingredients are either mindfully grown here in our gardens or sourced from small scale local farmers or companies that are aligned with our mission around sustainability. Rooted in respect for the earth and a deep belief in the healing power of plants, Golden Rose Botanicals works to nurture both individuals and the planet, ensuring a future where herbs and their benefits are shared equitably and sustainably.
My name is Rose-Ellyn Birdsong Stuart and I am a passionate herbalist and maker of herbal products who is dedicated to fostering a deep healing connection between all beings, plants, and the land. With a focus on sustainable farming and harvesting practices, I am committed to ensuring that the plants I work with are cultivated in harmony and with respect to the lands we are fortunate enough to call home. Believing that nature is one of our greatest teachers, I understand that each plant is an individual with unique lessons to offer and I try to facilitate sharing their gifts with the seasonal herbal preparations and natural body care line that I create.

My journey into herbalism began the same way a lot of those that are called to the healing arts do: through personal experience. My own challenges with injury and illness took me on a deeply transformative path of healing, being supported every step of the way by the plants and their healing gifts. I know first-hand the profound shifts that can take hold when we trust the wisdom of nature and hold sacred the magic and mystery of our plant kin. As a clinical herbalist, I work with a holistic approach, blending traditional wisdom with modern insights and focusing on diet and lifestyle as well as spiritual and emotional well being. I collaborate with my clients to create a container where deep and restorative shifts can take place and aim to empower individuals to reconnect with the plants and natural rhythms around them. And as a maker and creator of a small batch herbal product line I wholeheartedly believe that the difference in fresh plant remedies speaks for itself. Bringing Golden Rose Botanicals to life has been many years in the making. I feel so honored and deeply grateful to finally be able to share these herbal offerings with the community.
